Whole Lotta Nothin'

Well, all three kids had sleep-overs to attend last night. That affords ol' Dad here a luxurious extra 8 or 9 minutes to relax this morning before I head out for kid-collections.

Only thing is...there's nothing to do. There are no soccer, basketball or croquet games to rush to. No birthday parties, no weddings, no "play dates" (lol play dates). I'm a little uptight, as the little box on the wall calendar has nothing scribbled in it. There are no little "invitations" stuck to the fridge.

Looks as though we're going to have to do something nearly unprecedented this weekend: COME UP WITH SOMETHING ALL ON OUR OWN.

But that's ok. Thanksgiving is coming up. I'll more than pay for any leisure time I might have now. There's millions of miles to go before I sleep that weekend.

OK, I have 3 and 1/2 minutes left today. And, dammit, I'm gonna go enjoy them.

Have a good weekend everyone.

Good idea! Enjoy them. I've chased my 7 year old around the living room already this morning cause he thot he could "win". We both almost wet our pants...it was fun. Have a great day! :)

    Jimmy,
Have a great time with your kiddos. Why not go for a walk in the park and take pics or something?

Oh My...you know, sometimes I feel guilty...all my friends have kids, and 3.5 minutes to themselves once a week. And then there's me. I get up when I want to...get coffee and sit and stare out the window till the world starts to turn again...and then I take care of The Gerbies and The Flock. Thats it. Just us. But then again...GLAD IT'S NOT MEEEEE! HAHAAAAAA

    You take it easy, tallman.
