Bye Eliot!

So yeah, the genius who got himself elected Governor of NY State had to resign after it was revealed that he was involved in prostitution.(Makes you wonder a little what he was talking about in this photo)

I got yelled at by some friends for my harsh letter to Mr. Spitzer some time back (see it here)in regard to his plan to issue driver's licenses to illegal immigrants.

But I guess I wasn't too far off the mark, huh?

  2. Good letter, and good use of the word "Stupid", I know that's the special around here. :)

I guess however you get your wish. RE-Elect Spitzer will not be uttered at all. The shame of it all is that he will probably get to keep his law license, even though every other person with a law liscence who is indicted has that baby revoked. So much for blind justice.

  3. You really had him pegged...dangerous, misguided and a stupid, stupid man. Right on!

  4. I remember that letter.

This guy seems like a total crackpot; and it's a good thing he will no longer have the power he has mishandled.

  5. Maybe you felt it was a good letter, but it had nothing at all to do with the reason for his resignation. Now of course you know that and are probably making the point that you felt/knew he was a stupid man. Well, not for nothin'....there are so very many politicians that have done stupid sexual things, and more. In fact, I'd go to far as to say "most".
The way I see it, is although I don't approve (at all) of what he did....I try to draw the line between immoral and illegal. For me, the latter is worse. It's beyond stupid...it's wrong.
    Ok...I'm done (for NOW).
    ; )

  7. Interesting thought Nancy, I've never sat down and thought about whether I think immoral or illegal is worse. I guess my initial though is that there are immoral acts that are just as destructive as illegal acts, they're just harder to legislate. Hmmm. Interesting food for thought.

As for Spitzer....eeeew. Good riddance. And his poor wife. That's who I feel for right now.

  8. Funny how people are all worked up over this guy, who at least had the decency to fess up and step down. Unlike a certain ex-president whose wife is running for president now.

It just goes to show that he who is without sin should cast the first stone. I have learned that crusaders often have something to hide in many cases. Anyway, hope you are doing well JP. Luv ya!

  12. How did I miss that letter...? It was good!

And well, Will was happy because he worked on the campaign for Suozzi, his opponent in the Dem primary lol I found that kinda funny for some reason. Will worked his butt off on that campaign.
