Imagine...

Imagine you have a contractor come and install a nice, new front door on your home.

Now imagine, as soon as the door is installed, you close it. Only now, that makes all the windows fall out.

So you replace the windows. All done. Except now, you open them up, and the roof flies off. You set out and replace the roof, except when you're done, the roof is heavy and all the walls cave in.

See the trend?

That's kind of what it's like to deal with Comcast. The Customer Reps are very nice, and they work hard to keep the issues taken care of. But, every time one person fixes something, something else breaks.

Sigh.

  1. Last night we lost all local channels on our cable. No idea why. We suddenly got then back at around 1am. Yes, I was still up even though I had work today lol

Cable companies suck almost as much as phone companies.

Darlin, I feel your pain. My sons a/c went out a month ago and after $5000.00 and a new a/c and furnace, nothing works. They said, he has the oven on so it heats up. HUH? I have one nerve left and they are standing on it. SIGH. Anne

    Hi Jimmy,
The Cable Guys are -- well -- evil. No doubt they're laughing all the way to the bank!

  5. I think it's time to try someone else. You might have to go dish. Cable/Satellite is such a ripoff.

Oh dear... But, in the defense of consumers, the phrase "If you can't get your product to work correctly, just come and pick your sh*t up!" works very well at times. What? Me use it? NEVAH!

Thats service for ya! What happened to the days when you'd call someone to fix somthing, and it was done right, guaranteed! If something went wrong within the warranty limits, it was fixed, no questions asked. Nowadays, companies will come up with any loophole to get out of honoring the warranty. Ticks me off!

  11. We have Dish Network and went the rounds with them, and we've dealt with DirecTV before as well (we switch when the contract's up for whoever has the best deal at the time). Sadly, they all pretty much suck at customer service. Too bad they're the ones who have what we want, huh? Puts us at their mercy. Jerks.

I am astounded Comcast has been able to stay afloat with the various levels of ineptitude it incorporates.
