Why?

So I had a conversation about blogging with a friend of mine. She told me this blog should be more "me".

I like to think I will eventually become a writer. It's something I have always wanted to do, and I don't think writing about "me" is going to be the secret of my success. I mean, of course, what I write is a representation of "me", but I don't think people like to read about what I ate for dinner.

I'll work on it though. I like to write. I won't lie. I like to think that maybe I could eventually attract a following, and I like to see comments and feedback.

Maybe if it were a little more interesting in here. I'll see what I can do.

  1. Your blog should be about what you want it to be. I figure that whatever a person writes says a lot about who he/she is. I also like that you throw things out there and take a stand on things.....otherwise it'd be boring. I agree, not everyone wants to hear what we had for dinner every night--just some nights.

  2. I find you pretty interesting already. If I didn't, I wouldn't be reading. However, revealing a little more me, getting down to some almost uncomfortable honesty really pushes my writing ability. I'll keep reading.

  5. Your blog is just fine the way it is.
We learn more about you through your entries. I am not interested in what you ate last night(although you can share that if you want), I am interested in your views.....your thoughts.....your struggles.
Somehow when we share, we help others see.
I think your blog should be what YOU want it to be.

  6. How is your blog NOT you? I mean just curious... What did she not like? I mean these are your thoughts, these are your opinions. If that's not "you" idk what is.

I hate blogging about the mindless "me" stuff. I mean I have a huge party coming up, my grandma's 75th, and I have yet to write about it because I don't have any real opinion of it. It's grandma. lol

ummmm..interesting...thought provoking and funny to name a few of your writing characteristics and I wouldn't change a thing other than maybe tell us what you wear to bed at night? ;)
