Stand Out

I run into a little problem with a certain personality type. They're the ones who make a conscious decision to always be different, to not follow "the rules", to fly in the face of convention, but then sit and rage at the world for not allowing them to fit in.
You know the type, right? They live by such credos as "I don't need anyone to make me happy", "I don't change for anyone", "take me as I am". They pride themselves on "not taking shit from anyone", they list things like "bitch" on their personal resumes.
Then they sit back and rage at the world for not letting them fit in. Nobody wants them.
"Woe is me, nobody loves me"
Well, yeah, isn't that what you wanted?
Sorry, just had one of those exhausting conversations...

  1. Hey you're not supposed to talk about me like that in your blog! ROFL! Yeah that's so me! Haha. I know the type of person you're talking about. It's extremely frustrating. I've come to the conclussion that they're so absolutely miserable, have such low self-esteem, and are just searching for something to bring their hearts joy, that what they end up doing is making everyone around them miserable, most of all themselves.

    God Bless

  2. Some people are just never happy. I also love how they want everyone to bend to their way of life or thinking (um, there's a reason you are different!!)
