Stupidicity...

I was very impressed with the Super Bowl. I wasn't too excited about those commercials this time around. Not awful, just not great. But Pop and I watched the whole game together. I kept him awake! (Well, the game helped, because it was a good match, regardless of the winner)

The murder of the English language is an ongoing process. It's killing me, as well. I like the latest weapons: letchoo is the new let you, Icantstanjoo replaces I can't stand you and dat's all I'll discuss witchoo aboutdat tonight, ok?

Why Women Are Superior, or, A Bet Update... So Jenna and I went at it via text message after my big Super Bowl Bet win, and she said that since I won, I don't have to do what she says. She told me that I can, on my own, decide exactly what jobs I'll be doing for her, you know, since I won. I love a clever woman, I really do...

The Breakfast Club was on TV Land the other night as I was surfing. I stayed with it. I really like that movie a whole lot, ya know?

Oh and, I have another candidate for my "Celebrities I Bet It Would Be Nice To Have Lunch With" Club. Her name is Amanda Peet. She just seems like a cool lady. So, so far it's Hilary Swank, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Amanda Peet. I'll bet they're thrilled, huh? Who would you want to have lunch with (among celebrities, I mean)

OK, that's enough I guess. See ya later!

  1. Breakfast Club was so well done, but then I'm a big fan of the whole John Hughes phenomenon. My other favourite is Some Kind of Wonderful.

I'd like to have lunch with Edward Norton and Neil Gaiman. I already know Neil would be fun because I've met him, and I suspect Edward would be fascinating as long as he didn't mind talking shop about film-making/directing (because I'd have lots of questions). I was going to include John Cusack, but actually in his case I'd rather it was dinner and a movie. ^_^

  2. I wouldn't want to have lunch with a celebrity! I would probably be tongue-tied, and then there's the whole issue of the salad leaves stuck between the front teeth...

  3. My love affair with words, makes the latest travesty of chewed up syllables painful, to say the least. As for Celebrities...not a huge fan of them. But there is one I wouldn't mind having lunch with and that is Marlee Matlin. She tends to be inspiring under any circumstances, not just because I'm deaf either....(Hugs) Indigo

  4. Hi Jimmy!
I cried in joy for Eli because he looks 12 and big brother was looming in the shadows. I thought they earned this win even if they made my Packer's look bad. Farve actually handed it to them. Brady has a very unattractive ego!

I watched "Animal Planet's Puppybowl IV" complete with water bowl cam. ;) They had a cute kitten halftime show. LOL

I hope you and pop are staying warm and happy. XXOO

  6. 1. I can't even count how many times I've seen Breakfast Club...what a classic. And I think it was written in 2 days!
As for lunch w/ celebrities...it depends if I want a "fantasy date" with a hottie, or some other form of stimulation. Too hard to generalize for me.
Can I get back to ya on this?

I love The Breakfast Club, but I reeeeeally love Sixteen Candles. I mean, that's one of those movies that I will stop what I'm doing and watch - even though I've seen it a hundred times.

    As far as my lunch:

    David Duchovny
    Elvis Costello
    Seth McFarlane
    David Letterman
and Scott Speedman for good measure! :)

I LOVE the Breakfast Club (it was the background on my MySpace page for ages!).

As for lunch...if it was for eye candy and conversation it would be Josh Duhamel, Ben Affleck, John Cusack, Colin Firth, Andy Garcia...I could go on and on...but I'll stop now (ohhh...I am loving Brody Jenner too...but he is a bit young!).

If it was for entertainment and fun it would be Graham Norton, Sarah Silverman, Rob & Big, Stephen Colbert, Jon Stewart...again I could go on and on...I could go onto musicians next (Petty, Springsteen, Stipe, Bono) but really I'll stop.

    Love ya babe!!
